Lowering the Front of my Challenger R/T?

Ok, I have the Boss 338s which looks kinda old school to me. I really like how it looks but I think I wanna lower the front to give it the 'old school rake'.

I need some advice on how to do this without f'ing up the ride or the shocks.

    Any help is appreciated!

Maybe put some stock SRT front struts and springs on her. Might lower her an inch or two.

I'm thinking that to do it right would be to use Coilovers all around. You could then adjust the height anyway you want. You would also have the option of changing it at any time you choose to.

    Front springs are available.

It would be a good idea to replace the shocks too

I'm really thinking about that as an option. I'm wondering if I'd get much of a drop since the R/T's are lighter in front? Anyone know that, cause I don't.

Coilovers, Lowering springs, SRT8 Springs and Pedders...how to decide is the problem. I can see I need lots more info.

Will lowering springs ruin the shocks? What are the options for shocks with 1-2" front drop?

the stock shocks are not designed for lowered springs, you will not ruin them right away, but over time they will fail prematurely.

Ok so i feel you on this moe. Ill take a pic later of my srt8 suspension. I went with an Srt8 suspension all the way around. Let me tell you it was a big difference. It handles much better and it lowered my car 3/4 of an inch. Now that i have 275-40-20's on all 4 corners i am going to lower it a bit more with pedders. I already have the springs which work with the srt8 suspension. It will lower my car 15 MM more in front and 14 MM more in the rear giving it a raked look.

So basically you cant go wrong with the srt8 suspension. Its cheap and you will like it. Now this weekend i will be taking off my springs. If you would like to buy them no prob but i dont know if they will go well with the RT shocks. Im sure someone can chime in and see if it will
