Lowered the car, now it I got rubbing issues with OEM tires and OEM 20" rims

So I installed a set of KW V1 last weekend and dropped the car about 1.5" from what it was, I would say I can stick 1.5 fingers on the gap from the tire to the fender, being 29" 5/8 on the rear and 29" on the front from ground to the top of the fender.

I drove the car for 2 days, it handles amazingly well but it is a little bit too harsh for me, maybe it is just a transition state from super soft to something more sportish, however the car looks awesome lowered.

Now comes the issue, I have a 2008 SRT Design, which has a OEM 20x8" rims and 245/45R20 tires and today I was measuring the fenders distance to the ground to check how much was my drop and I noticed that all 4 tires has rubbing marks on them. I passed my hand inside the fenders and sure enough my hand came out full of rubber debris.

I surely did not expect to have rubbing issues with the OEM tires and rims.
    Did I go too low?
Is there anything that can be done other than rolling the fenders?
Have you guys seen this with OEM tires and rims?

    Thanks!

Nick called it you gotta roll those fenders baby! Make sure you use a heat gun plz. Otherwise you will end up with chiped paint like me :/ but it made all the difference I am lowered on 24" inch rims and have no rubbing issues anymore. Here are some pics of it.

    That's a sharp looking Charger!

I'm just so surprised because I have never seen any complains, here on the forum, with OEM rims and tires when they lowered their cars.

Thanks guys, I'm gonna have to look for someone to do it here in the GTA or find a tool to rent.

If you contact, http://www.3gcustomz.com/, they will let you hold their Eastwood fender rolling tool. I think they charge a SMALL monetary fee. Kind of like a pay it foward program. You should try getting in touch with them to see if they can help. Don't forget to mention you are from the forums.

Thank you Black Beast! it's much appreciated. Yeah you are definately right I've never heard of
anyone having rubbing issues with stock wheels as well. Might be because they are not as serious
as the issues we have like poping tired etc but it still is pretty odd :/ but yeah roll those fenders buddy and you will be set! Is it in the front only or both front and rear? I only had problems with
the front the rear has plenty of room so I left them alone.

Can you not hear them rubbing? Every time mine rubbed it made a awful noise inside, you would definitely hear it.

But ya, rubbing with stockers is strange?? I only rubbed cause I am running 295's in the rear.

Did you get an alignment after lowering?

Your too low. Adjust them up a bit.

I drive a 2008 300C, lowered 1.5 in and drive on Nitto 420's 265/35/R22 and never had a problem with rubbing. Also, I just finished the suspension and fixed a lot of that stiffness

Sorry guys for the delay in answering to this post.
Below is a pic of my tire, not the greatest but it gives an idea of the rubbing issue. I do not hear or feel any rubbing, but all 4 tires got rubbing marks after I lowered the car and as I said before, if I pass my hand on the fenders it comes out with rubber debris.
By looking at the clearance from the fender to the tires it does not seem it is rubbing on the fender but rather on the wheel well linings, I can not confirm because I can not see any marks on the linings either, but that's my best guess.
I think I will have to get some of those "revelators", not sure about the name of the thing, but it is a white kind of powder that you spray on the area that you want to detect rubbing, leaking and things like that.

Here are some pics of the car, I don't think it is too low. People here on the forum are way lower than this and don't have a problem.

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure I'm lower than that, and I have no rubbing problems... although I'm also running low profiles for a couple more days...

I guess I'll check after I get my new tires put on.

I'm not entirely sure what's going on...when I was lowered with springs, my fronts would rub but only on huge bumps. But when they rubbed, the fender liners would have a mark on them and some of the plastic would kinda bead up
