Yes, the liquid balancers are excellent! I use them on the custom, forged wheels I have on my Harley. I don't have to have ugly wheels weights on those wheels.
A dynamic balance you get from the liquid or powder actually gives you longer tread life too because it is constantly adjusting for tread wear. The liquid also works to seal any small punctures you might have.
Any recommendations for liquid balancers?

PJ1 is the leading brand that I'm aware of. I'm very satisfied with the super quality and how well this products works too.Originally Posted by PaulFix

I'll find some others for consideration too.
I just checked their website (pj1) and their product is not recommended for car tires. I found it in their FAQ.

There are balancing beads that really work great. I threw wheel weights all the time. This method works.

Ah, but this brand of liquid sealant/balancer IS rated for cars, trucks, motorcycles, ATV's, etc. and is relatively inexpensive:Originally Posted by hops23

I am going to balance them myself this time, and if I can't get it I may try the beads.I am afraid of the liquid up here knowing how cold it can get.

My ride just got the shakes again. The wheels have been balanced three times since I bought them. I took the clips off and they worked fine for a while. I'm gonna check or re-torque the lugs and if that doesn't do it, I'm gonna try the beads.
