I have an '05 rwd Magnum R/T on Eibach Sportlines Your offset ideally should be +15 to +18.

I have 265/35/22 tires on 22" x 9.5" KMC "DIME" wheels that are +18 offset

Depending on the width, you may need to roll the fenders, or you'll rub. I needed to roll my rear fenders
so I could install the SPC 1.5 degree camber kits.

There are bolt patterns and offsets for that XD 775 rockstar that will fit RWD and AWD.

I've been looking at getting the XD 778 monster or this XD 775 rockstar for my AWD magnum. I finally gave up.
The problem is that the 5x114.3 bolt patterns in any wheel size are on back order for the next 9 weeks, per the guys at wheelpros.com

Here are all the bolt pattern and offsets for the XD series wheels.

    http://wheelpros.com/browse.asp?page...ted&section=XD

You can also check out the ION 185 wheel, it's similar to the rockstar, but I haven't found if they make the 5x114.3 bolt pattern.

I don't know what the offset or backspacing you would need to fit those springs.

5x114.3 is the WRONG bolt pattern, the bolt pattern you want for an lx car is 5x115

    you 100% on that?

I'm pretty sure 5x114.3 is right, but the 5x115 will fit, just not perfect.

I could be wrong, just asking.

Actually you've got it backwards. 5x115 is for our LXs. 5x114.3 is mostly a Ford bolt pattern, including the Mustang. The rear rims on my Magnum were made for a Mustang. I used 8mm spacers to make them work.

Yeah, 5x115 is the correct bolt pattern for our cars. 5x114.3 is real close and some people have used it, but I'd get the correct 5x115.

5x115 vs. 5x114.3 in less than 1/32nd of an inch.

The 5x114.3 can be used if done correctly.

(With proper offset and hubcentric ring if needed)

discount tire and tire rack is showing 5 x 115.......What backspace do I want to be able to tuck these under the sportlines with dampers and a year or so down the road airride? the size prob works and is kinda interesting that the mustang is that pattern. I know dudeiwin86 runs mustang rims on the back of his maggie.

    OFFSET = BACKSPACING

That depends on a couple of things.

What diameter wheels you're going to get and how wide they are.

Your limited in the front. You can only go up to +18 offset in the front. Anything more will have you rubbing the front suspension.
In the rear you can go higher because you have more clearance. (+25 or so) This comes in handy if you want to go with a staggered set up.

+18 will be the sweet spot for offset (backspacing) The lower the offset, the further out your wheel will mount. That's why in my previous post I stated that offsets between +15 and +18 should be ok for what you want.

Keep in mind that you probably will need to roll your fenders up out of the way when/if you decide to bag your car.

"0" offset - the mounting surface of the wheel is on the wheels centerline

"pos" offset - The mounting surface moves away from the centerline, causing the wheels edges to shift inward.

"neg" offset - The mounting surface moves in toward from the centerline, causing the wheels edges to move outward.

Yea they will fit but it doesn't make it right (techincally they are not interchangable), you are straining the studs more, 1/32 of an inch or not...it's wrong and doesn't make sense to put the wrong bolt pattern when there are plently of wheels out there with the correct fitment.

    Read this thread.

Maybe interchangable isn't the right word. (edited above post) The 5x115 is correct for Lx'es and should be used if possible, I agree.

However.....There is no reason why a 5x114.3 can't be used, without issue, if done correctly.

    This is what I meant.

Did you even read the whole thread you posted? It seemed like the general consensus by the end of it was that 5x114.3 with the correct hub centric rings and correctly tightening the nuts works just fine and would not cause vibrations or any adverse effects.
As they say, the trick to going fast is keeping the wheels straight and don't use the brakes.

Did you read the thread? LOL....

I read all the posts from the guys who bought 5x114.3 wheels and were trying to make grab at anything they could to justify it. There were lots of misinformed guys claiming their wheels were fine...there was also lots of guys who owned or have owned 5x114.3 wheels on their lx cars and had problems (vibration etc..etc..)

I read the posts from the engineers, the wheel shops, the experts who had real world facts about stud area, hub mounting surface etc..etc..

Take from it what you will but like I said before why anyone would run a bolt pattern that wasn't specifically meant for their car (few thousands out or whatever) is beyond me.
