    Info for some 22's

So I have spent the whole afternoon compiling info from everywhere about what I should do about some wheels and tires for my Magnum and I have a couple of questions. I know the offset should be 15mm up front and 20mm in back.

    1) Is it better to do a 22x8.5 or 22x10 up front while having a 22x10 in the rear?

    2) If doing a 22x8.5 up front what does this leave me for options on tires...I want to put a 285/35/22 in the rear(Toyo Proxes S/T) which also makes a 265/35/22 which would only fit a 22x10 front wheel.

    3) Is it better to go with 20's with a setup of 20x8.5 Ft and 20x10 Rr with 255/45 and 295/45 Toyo Proxes S/T

    4) With 29.? inch diameter tires up front is the bolt in there on the A-arm going to require trimming so that it won't have the chances up rubbing?

Or any other suggestions to all the gurus

The setup I have right now is a 22x9.5 all the way around... They are wrapped with a 265/35/ZR-22 Pirelli Scorpion Zero tire...But I'm about to buy new rim/tires with a wider rear...I'm keeping the 22x9.5 on the front but the rear will be a 22x10.5 or 11 with a 285 or 295/25/22 tire...Or you can just do 24's with a 275/25/24..

You can go with a 265/35-22 on the front and/or rear with a 22x10" wheel, no problem with a 15mm offset. A 22x8.5" wheel is just too narrow and will damage a 265mm width tire.

On the rear, go 22x10.5" or 22x11.0" with a 295/30-22 or 305/30-22 or a 315/30-22 size tire, but correct offset becomes more critical.

The typical staggered setup is a 295/30-22 size tire on a 10.5" wide wheel with a 20mm offset on the rear. On the front go with a 265/35-22 size tire mounted on a 9.5" wide wheel with a 15mm offset. It works.

I like Foose wheels because they're just a bit more radical. A Foose Nitrous in a 22x9.5" wheel has just a 12.5mm offset, which really makes the wheel "fill" the wheelwell. Looks awesome.

(A 295/25-22 size tire is too low-profile and will ride rough and throw your speedometer off. A 285/35-22 size tire is too tall and will also throw off your speedometer and final drive ratio.)

I think I have figured out what I want...downgrading to 20's but i figure what I lose in size I gain in performance and ride comfort plus it leaves some more cash for other things like sways etc.

    I looked I am going to have 20x8.5 +18mm F with a 265/45/20 and a rear of 20x10 +20mm with a 295/40/20.

Toyo makes a matching set of tires in that size(Proxes S/T or Proxes 4...one of the two as well as Pirelli so I do have choices in tire)
