About LinkBacksJust wondering, how many folks have had to replace the steering rack? I am about ready to replace mine for the third time. $500 for the part+labor+alignment. First one was warantee, second one was a $100 charge, this ones on my nickel. Car shimmies and my new BFG's are already cupping!

No kidding, how many miles do you have on her???.

99,000. Called the factory rep, but with that many miles, they kinda laughed. I'm hoping they have improved the inner tie rod end as the new part # for the rack is different this time. Funny thing I never had a problem with ball joints or tie rod ends with any Toyota. Toyota buys them from a factory in Brewer ,Maine ZF Lemforter corp. a German company, go figure.
