I have had my black and polished wheels for like 4 months and the polished lips are looking very dull with water spots that won't come off with regular washing. How can I make the lips look new again without removing the clear coat?

You should treat the wheels just like you do the paint on your car. You polish/wax regardless of if they are raw/polished, anodized, powder coated, clear coated, painted, etc...
Mothers makes a good wheel polish and the polishing/buffing ball they sale is awesome.
Yeah, I wax my wheels.

Mothers makes a pretty good aluminum polish that Tracy uses on her wheels....just takes some elbow grease. Just use a wax pad with some poilsh and rub till you hurt, then hit it with a protectant. Tracy has been using something new as a protectant with great results. I'll mention this thread to her and she'll point ya in the right direction since she has become quite the shine master
yup, keeping them waxed not only keeps them shiny... but it helps keep brake dust from caking up.
Keep Clean Wheel by Eagle One it's the ****!! After a good polish (I use Mothers Aluminum Polish), spray this over the whole wheel, it repels brake dust and road dirt- next car wash you'll just need to wipe 'em off and they're just as shiny as the day you polished. We bought ours as part of a kit on-line at eagleone.com
