    Got pimples on my rims

    What's new all?

I got my '07 Magnum with what I thought were brand new 22" Boss rims. Within 6 months i noticed small rust bubbles on them. When I tried to take them back they told me to take them to the tire store they bought them from. I did and they told me the warranty was already expired.

It has since gotten worse and my question to my other Magnum maniacs is what are my options? Do I need to rechrome them or can they be saved. Most of the rust bubbles are in the crevices or corners. Someone told me I could use an s.o.s. pad to scrub it down to metal and then polish to protect it. I love the rims and don't want another pair. Is rechroming expensive? I need your input brothers and sisters let me know!

    Thanx for your time

You might have to get them re-chromed if you want to keep them. Pictures would help.

FYI - If you have to get new wheels, try to get wheels with stainless steel lips rather than chrome. They look just as good if not better and you'll NEVER have to worry about rust or chrome chipping off.
