About LinkBacksI have the opportunity to buy an (almost) brand new set of take-offs for $2000. They have the RS-A's. Is this a good deal? I know I've seen them on here for cheaper, but these are almost brand new.

from what i've seen, that's about $500 to $700 too high.

You can purchase Prototype or Faux SRT's online for $900 they are the Same rim but don't have the emblem on them. This is just an option if you want to purchase New ones at 1/2 the cost.

The reproductions are chrome plated aluminum. If you don't take care of them they will pit an rust.

Aluminum doesn't rust. And from what I understand, the factory SRT wheels are forged aluminum while most of the reproduction wheels are cast (i.e. heavier).

I got a set of polished SRT wheels from a member here with RSA's on 2 and F1's on 2 (staggered wheels) for $600 less than that, and they have under 1000 miles on them and were polished...
