General Altimax HP Tires

I'm thinking about replacing my stock tires with General Altimax HP's. I was looking to see if anyone else mounted them and I did not find any.
I was wondering if any one had an opinion if this is a good choice or not. I was thinking about the GY Assurance ComforTred but I was told that it will take away from the handling.
I still want a all-season tire with decent traction and tread wear but I would still like the car to handle relative to the way it already does if not improve.... I do plan on lowering the vehicle over the summer with Eibach springs....

There a new tire line for General, don't think they been out to long for anybody to try them, you might want to look into the R/T version of the tire. The tire itself looks pretty good.
