Anyone compared the weight of a 20' foose nitrous to a stock. Are they heavier or lighter??
Do I need a lowering kit to get the 20's to fit right?

I did the old fashion pick up the stocker and then the newbie, with shoes they were really close. As far as having to lower it, your call. I will be dropping my front about an inch as soon as I can find the right adjustable struts.
From wild to extra wild we got you covered with crap ya never knew you needed.
The first 6.1 transformation and it all went down hill from there.

I was also thinking about lowering mine 1". I think it is not really neaded though. As for the weight I have not had them off after getting them put on. I will see if I can get a true weight when I get my valve stems in on Dec. 10. I have had to put flush valve stems in for the center valve stem holes because the clearence is less that a 1/4" between the valve stem and the calipar. I do have the tire preasure sensors in the rear valve stem hole.
the attached pic is a 300c on left with no lowering( mine ) 300c on right 1.6 lowering springs ( Erics ). same tire size 255/45r 20"

Heavier, but not by much. Stock = ~22 lbs., Nitrous 20x8.5 = 28 lbs.Originally Posted by lieu910
To *fit* right? No, not at all. But you might want a lowering kit to make it *look* right, but that is always subjective thing.Originally Posted by lieu910

When I had mine installed the guy wasn't thinking about the stem location and installed them in the inside position. When I spun the wheel sounded like my kids bike with cards in the spokes. This was of course after all were mounted and balanced. Had to break them down again and install new stems in the other location.
? AGGOST: How is the ride compared between the two since you can do a side by side, really interested. Thanks.

The Lowered one is Black Cherri she's a dream to drive and the ride is just as good as stock. Milk Shake just got a Magnum totaly stock and i really cant' tell the differance in the to car's ride.

Thanks for the input. I might go with springs, I'm not having to much luck with after market adjustable struts (locating and installed info from the driver).

I am glad you brought that up Cam. I do hear and feel some humming from the front right tire. This might be the thing you are talking about. I feel this at about 40mph. I will find out more after the 10th. As for adjustible struts I see that mopar had some at the sema show this year. Please somebody help me on the link that somebody posted this week.

When you say humming, like what?. Also which tires did you go with. I had problems with my first set and changed them out to the F1's. If the stem is hitting the caliper, big problem. Can you imagine ripping that off at speed!!. I was at SEMA but didn't see those struts, but then again all things were hazy for a few days. Post some pic's would like to see your ride. Just noticed you have the 420's. These are the tires I had problems with, after the change problem sovled!.

Hmmm 6lbs is almost a deal breaker. 24lbs of extra reciprocating mass is going to hurt performance. How much is a guess though.Originally Posted by DawsonMagnum
