    Falken tires

    i know falken tires are decent in the import scene

    has anybody had any experience with Falken tires 265/35/22's on their LX's?

    im tire shopping and at $115 per tire it is very tempting!!

    all input is greatly appreciated

    I had a set of Falken Ziex on my '97 Tbird back around 2K/2k1. They were alright, but I won't waste my money on them again. They were great at first, but they got hard quick and overall didn't last long (about 1 year...20K miles).

    i just got some falkens 255/45/20's on the rear and will be matching up the front in about 4000 miles.... so far they seem good and have a nice tread pattern

    The 275-35-20 FK452's are excellent tires for summer use only (noy bad in the rain either).

    problem is the cheaper tires are made of hard rubber yeah they last longer and they are cheap but its kind of like when you were a kid in rain they compare to a wet banana or in my time a slip and slide...on dry streets its like trying to take off really fast on a big wheel no traction at all...
    The resident Hater who also owns a Magnum with its own crumple zone.

    Not sure what tires you are refering to, it's obviously not the FK452's...

    referring to cheap tires in general that's why i said "problem with cheap tires" sorry i don't condone buying sub standard crap i made the mistake of cheap tires once will never make the mistake again...

    The 115 is a hook up price big al they're normally like 130 and up....

    Mr I said just to check the weight capacity and temp

    What tires are u running?

    I also found a set on ebay of Toyos for 615 shipped

    im not a tire expert but i bought some nexens and wow they suck i hear the same stories on other cheap tires like the lexani i know the upper Fakens are better but I would go with the toyos at least you know its a good tire... i have a set of toyos on order

    If you google the Falken ziex s/tz01 which is what i have i paid 107.00 a tire and i love them mine are 255 55/18s tho
