Dunlop SP Sport 5000 tire

Anyone currently have the Dunlop SP Sport 5000 tire on the stock RT AWD rim in the 255/55-18 size? According to Dunlop and Tirerack the section width of this tire is 10.4" while many of the other 255/55-18 have a section width of 10.0" Will I run into clearance problems with this tire?

You shouldn't have any problems with this tire. Dunlops run somewhat wider than other brands, which is what I prefer.

The SP 5000 will only be .2" wider on the inside, anyway, where clearance problems might occur. That's not enough to make any difference.

The Hankook tires I'm running shows a section width of 10.3" mounted on a 8" rims. Since our rims are narrower than 8" the 10.4 shouldn't be an issue.

I have them (RWD 18") and there is no issue with clearance. Granted there is no extra room. I really like these tires.
