    Looking to get some DR's.

    What's good ?

Is there any difference between them?

Looking at Mickey Thompson or Nitto .........

I've got a set of nearly new (7 total runs) BFG 275/40/18 drag radials mounted and balanced on 18" Borbet wheels that I'll sell to you for a good price. The package new was about $850. I'd let them go for $400.

Seriously, don't even waste your time with Nitto's unless you plan on doing a lot of street driving with them on. If you are looking for max hookage at the track go with MT or M&H's.

These would be strictly for track use.
And getting to the track.(about 10 min away).

So it's MT or M&H then.

What price range am I looking at?

What is the difference between 17 and 18"?(other than size )

    Thanks.

    Around $190-200 a piece

The 17 lets you have the same hieght tire with more sidewall which helps hook up better

for a 5.7 go with the MT since they make them in a 26" tire.

What 17" wheels are people using with the CORRECT bolt pattern?
(that will clear the SRT-8 calipers?)

You can get Centerlines in the 5x115........The 114.3 as far as I am concerned when used only for drag racing won't hurt anything,as long as it's hubcentric.

Can someone post a direct link to a specific wheel or two that will be a direct fit for my 5.7.
I seem to be a little dumb when it comes to wheel sizes , bolt patterns and all the rest of the numbers.

Dumb it down for me please......

Here is a link to the Borbet wheels in 17 inch but you will have to call for the bolt pattern cause they don't list it anymore

    Go W/the Mickey Thompson 275/40R 17.

They will help your effective FDR.

The 17" X 9" Cobra wheels are about 1/2 of what the centerlines will run you, but the centerlines are probably lighter & they look better IMO.

I don't know if thy are 5 X 115, but as stated, for drag strip use a 5 X 4 1/2 will work fine if they are "lugcentric" (conical seat lugnuts) & you are careful when you tighten them down.

The Cobra wheels are about a third of the Centerlines and 402 Motoring has a wheel/tire package for under $700.
