    Brake pads for SRT

Anyone have any recent experiences with Hawk and/or StopTech brake pads for an SRT8 and/or any other brake pad recommendations (except stock -- I am so over heavy brake dust)?
06 MSRT. KW, Hotchkis, and REM. Predator, Corsa, and AFE. No more Ram Heads -- Flying Skulls instead (on BT badge, sills, center caps, and underhood; and on Jinah's mats and console cover). Entirely shaved, no rear wiper. SRT door pulls, SRT pedals, Lloyd's HEMI luggage mat, leather shift bezel and matched knob, dash kit matching factory trim, Mopar IPOD, hardwired V1, Mopar hidden hitch, yada yada

I've been running stop techs for a year now..love them..once they break in around 300 miles or so they provide some crazy bite..seems to be better than the stock brembo pads...oh ya and having little dust is awesome as wel

Been running the stop tech brakes. Not sure if they are better than Bembro but they are very good, a lot cheaper and less dust. I'm happy with them.

I am awaiting my Carbotech 1521s. Seems to be nothing but good things said about them, and I love the AX6s I have from them on my Firebird.

Stop Tech as well from R1 Concepts are my preferred. Even with motor work and big rubber they work pretty good.

I had the Hawk HPS and I hated them. initial bite is good like the OEM and then they fade bad. less brake dust but less brake power as well

I like the stock SRT pads.

I have been using the Bendix pads as replacements they do a decent job, but do dust.

To get the braking you want, you are going to get dust. Less dust less bite.

About two months ago I saw Wagner ThermoQuiets at a local auto store as their only choice for SRTs... $67 or something for the front set. I looked them up online and saw decent reviews for other cars, and decided to take a chance. Wound up getting them at Amazon.com for $43 (free ship no tax) and there was a $15 rebate (got the check quickly)... So $28 total.

I am very happy with them after 2400+ miles. With a OEM set out back (new last fall with maybe 8000 miles on them) and these up front it is interesting to compare the dust... plenty out back (which is hard to wash off) and minimal up front (which mostly comes off with a strong blast of water). There is no noise up front, while the backs squeal on a fairly regular basis.

May be the most satisfying $28 I have spent... LOL

Also if anyone has OEM pads with a decent amount of material left on them I'd be interested in taking them off your hands. It's easier for me to deal with the dust then the lack of stopping power.

Stop Tech here and I love them. They perform at least as well as OE pads. I can't really tell much difference. They dust up as bad as OE pads though, but I can live with it.

I used the Hawk HPS on my 300C they were ok. Ive had the Stoptecs on my Jeep SRT for a few months and they are go to go, I liked em enough that I got a set for my Superbee as well. Plus at about a quarter of the price of stock Brembos its hard to beat. R1 Concepts for the win... Also after doing SRT8 pad changes Ive come to love the $250 Girodisc piston spreader
