    Brake pad glue

I noticed the brake pads on our magnum rt were glued to the caliper. When I looked in the service manual on brake pad replacement, no mention of glue. Does anyone know what DC uses to glue the pads? I am now getting a slight squeek in the morning and I'm sure its because the pads are not tight. Thanks guys...

Uh... don't worry about the glue, the pads come glued to the backing plate when you buy them... that 1/8" thick piece of steel on the back of the pad is a part of the pad, not the caliper!

I realize that, I did not make myself clear, sorry. What I am saying is that the shim on back of the pad was "glued" to the caliper. New pads have the shim on them, I just want to reglue the pad/shim assembly like it was when it left the factory.
