    Brake Caliper covers

I’m having some work done on my car and the shop that has my car had a 300C with these brake caliper covers on it. They said that this is the first set and should be available soon. They cover up the caliper with a much cleaner look. They said there will be a few changes and will be offered with powder coat and personal engravings.

I like those, but it looks like you lose about a quarter inch of clearance. I know a lot of wheels are already drastically close to the calipers, depending on the off-set. This could create a problem for some. I still like the clean look!

I saw the car with a set of 20's on it and everything was good. But, I'm not sure how they fit with 18"s I'll find out. The wheels were on the car when I saw them at first, I had them take the wheels off to take a couple of pics.

    Neat idea.

Not sure if I like it. Would like to see a pic with the wheel on, because with the wheel off it looks like a plate bolted to a caliper, which is what it is.

Unfortunately the wheels that were on the car covered up a lot of the brake. But, wheels that are open face this will be a nice addition.

I agree, it looks like a plate bolted to a caliper. I'd think something that covered the outside of the caliper as well would be a lot nicer (and a lot harder to manufacturer). I'm curious to see them w/ wheels on as well. I'm picturing anodizing, powdercoating, anodizing... this could get dangerous :-) In principal though, I don't like covers that work to make things seem bigger or better than they are. Those things are pretty huge... kinda scream "If you're dumb enough to believe I have big brakes, then I have big brakes!" to me.

Yea I thought they looked way to big too but they might look ok once the wheels are on.
