    ? bout my pro-kit

Hey guys, I got a pro-kit with dampers installed about 2 weeks ago, love the look and the ride is so much better than stock. The question I have is, to those of you who have the pro-kit, how much did it settle?? After about two weeks the front end is about 1 1/4" lower and the rear is about 1", maybe a hair over an inch lower. Now for whatever reason my car didnt sit very high when it was stock, I know the AWD sits higher, (mine is RWD) but just seems that not all the SXTs I see sit the same, with stock suspension or on the prokit, some mags seem lower than mine and some seem to sit higher than mine on the same type of kit, its weird. Its prob only settled about 1/8" so far in the two weeks Ive had it, thanks guys, here's a pic.

i'm not sure, but do you have the nivomat self-leveling rear shocks? that would mess with it.

no, but i got their pro dampers anyway so thats not it, its level so im ok with it. But the pass side rear was almost 1/4" higher than the driver side rear when it had stock suspension, and and it still is, measuring from the ground to the top edge of the fender well, the rear is one inch lower on both sides measuring the before and after.

Measuring from the ground up, side to side can be frustrating if you don't find a perfectly flat, level surface. I had the same situation. I put it on an alignment rack (perfectly flat and level) and all the measurements were fine.

I guess what I'm wondering is, has anyone else only gotten 1" inch of lowering in the rear with the prokit, the front came down 1 1/4" and the rear 1" lower.

Ive got the pro kit but I still have the stock shocks. Ive had the kit on for about 1 1/2 years and it has settled about 1/2 inch all around in that time.when I first put the springs on it lowered it 1" front and 1.3" rear.dont know if the settling has to do with the stock shocks or not. Ive noticed that I sit about as low as some of the cars with the sportline springs also.

Cool, Thanks for the info, I hope mine settles more too, with time, it really handles great with this setup, get their pro-dampers when you need shocks, the ride is barely stiffer than stock, thanks again
