Blizzak LM-25

I installed (4) Blizzak LM-25s on my RT yesterday. They are great. While I have not had a chance to drive them on snow, the quietness, response and control on dry is great. On the HWY at 75 they are quiet and smoother than the Contis.





I got the rims off of Ebay in the spring for $75 ea. That way I will have a nice set with no salt damage in the summer. And I dont have to wait for Joe Minium wage to change the tires 2x a year.

I think you will like them, I've had them on a Mazda in the past and they were outstanding in the snow and ice. As I remember , take em off early in the spring, because they wore out fast when it got warm. I just bought a set of Dunlop Winter Sport M3's from Tire Rack. Lets hope we don't get to use em much!

Nice! What size did you get? I just had a set of Blizzaks LM-22's put on (255-55-18)(bought from a member here) and what a difference! They are a tad louder than the GY's but not bad. They handle and feel great (on dry roads). No issues with them hitting. They are close on the back side but don't rub.

I think this is going to be my next mod. I still have the set of 17" steel wheels that came on my SE so I think I will use those.

I'm tired of being white knuckled while driving on Rt. 78 and Rt. 22 here in good ole Penciltucky. Hopefully they will make a difference.

Hi Jay,

I just mounted them on my RT and they ROCK!!!! We have had 3 days of snow with temps in the low -20 and they stick like glue. Our streets are covered with loose and hard-packed snow, so I went out to give them a good workout and they performed flawlessly. From a dead stop, you still need to be easy on the throttle, but other than that, it is all good.

I am sure you're going to love them.

I've had mine sitting in my garage for about a month. Will have them installed once we get that first forecast for snow. Why overuse them on dry pavement until it's absolutely necessary?

Then next spring I will get my summer tires/wheels setup.
