    American Racing Wheel

So I got this great connect yesterday. One of my employees dad owns a tire and wheel shop. The kid really likes my maggie so much that he brought his dad in to see it. So the guy says to me, "hey, if you want some bigger tires and wheels to help fill the gap in the well, I'll give'm to you at cost..." So here is my question, cause I didn't ask him, what is cost?? Does anyone know what the mark up is on this stuff??

dealer cost is going to vary from shop to shop just because some deal in super high volumes....tire rack, discount....while others just have a few in stock like some of the personally owned shops. so it's hard to say what the actual cost should be, just find something you like and have him see what he can do....if you think you can get better try discount or someone just as a comparison.

Yes, always check around. If the local shop is just a few dollars more, I'd go with the local shop. Remember to add all those shipping charges when looking at other sources.
It looks like 2012 will be very good indeed.
Unless the Mayans are right, then, well, never mind.

After you get his price... PM Ernie at AVON Custom Wheels, our supporting vendor and ask him for a comparison price. Never know, Ernie might just beat him

    Good luck!

Most wheel and tire places use ABOUT a 35% markup... example cost = $100 wheel sells for $135... now, some get better "cost" pricing then others, based on the ammount of volume they do...

Google the rim and you can check the prices. Some dealers on certain tires will bump them over 100-150 per compared to another dealer. Don't forget lugs if needed, mounting balancing, etc.

A "deal" is a "deal"....He didn't have to offer you anything at all !

There will always be someone out there that will beat his price. I'm sure he'll throw in mounting and balancing, lug nuts...plus you won't have to pay for shipping. Good luck !!

Might be a great deal after all. Of course his cost, and others cost, depends on where he buys from.
