    AirRide Extras

Well as most of you AirRide "club" members know, I will be putting on my AirRide this coming weekend. Everyone that I have PM'd with my reservations about going through with it, talked me into it.

My question now is, what extras should I make sure to carry with me in case of a problem while on the road, etc. even though most of you have been trouble free from the get go.....i.e fuses, etc. Any suggestion would be appreciated so I can put together a kit. Also did any of you put in a kill switch to totally turn off the system, so the "mechanics and such" will not play with your car while in for service?

Also I would appreciate any other suggestions that are above and beyond the normal install that you would suggest doing/installing. I for one will be "t'ing" off of one of the ports to run my train horns that now are on their own compressor/air tank. They will for sure be louder since they can handle up to 200psi, and I am only putting 125psi to them now. LOL

    Now on to "Low Altitude"!!!!!

Thanks! I will not be that hard at all. I do plan on having a hose "t'eed" off of both the lines going into the tank, with a valve that will remain closed. The hose will have a normal end that you can just put a regular air hose connection to, to fill up the tank(like if you were putting air into your tires)..That way if the compressor(s) go out, I already have another 150psi air compressor that just clips to 12volts and then I can at least fill the tanks, if not able to with by using the air compressor(s). They guy doing my install has been doing air forever, and he suggested that, and also an extra retractable hose that I will be able to fill my tires up with when needed.

Anyone of you guys running side to side, etc..Besides just the Front/Back/All up All Down? I know it is just running wire and such from switches for it. Just wondering how stressful that would be on the car going side to side.

/end of threadjacking my own thread!

I like the idea about a extra retractable hose for tires. I am also hearing lots using Nitrogen in the tank instead or air, I have to read more about it but they say less moisture in tank and lasts a good amount of time without refiling......................Does anyone know more about this?
