Slam specialties, made a kit for our LX platform. The front wasn't designed well and people were breaking the wishbone part of it. The back however was made well, and offsets the bag to keep it from rubbing anything, and also the bag doesn't "expand" or get bigger when it inflates. This will greatly help you from rubbing through another bag.

However, I can't find anyone that still sells it. I'm sure you could contact them directly. www.slamspecialties.com I know they were willing to make me a kit after they said they were discontinuing it (the front).

    Here's a pic.

FYI I spoke to slam and they don't make this kit any longer
due to lack of sales :-( i wanted to try it myself !!!
i'm using the SS-6 bags from Slam Specialties in the rear of my magnum and the clearences are real tight but their "up not out" bags are great !!!

Simans posted my photos, but let me know if you need any more. Honestly, I really like my AirLift rear bags. If you upgrade, save your money and go with the easy street. If you align them properly when you install and check clearance by jacking the control arm up and down without the wheel on. The newest version of the rear AirLift bags (shown in my photos and in Ev0lv3's have metal cups that protect the top and bottom of the bags as well.

I drove to Vegas and Back. (4000ish miles, 6000ish km's.) on my airlift setup. Let me tell you I was scared but it all worked out.

I drove 16hrs to and from Denver, Colorado from Minneapolis with absolutely no problems. And I felt safe doing it the entire time, but I also had about 30k miles on the kit before that. About 50k miles on the kit now, still no problems. So I'm a fan!

I need a stiffer rear shock. They should have made an adjustable rear shock as well.

Lots of good info here from some air lift pros! I will have to dig around in my photos to see how my older style bags are facing

Edit: okay, I looked and I don't have a single picture of the rear setup installed, but, looking at them I believe the opening in the top cup should face the rear of the car.

We actually talked about coming out with a different rear shock, but the consumer interest was just not there.

I know this, I remember a thread on here about it.

However, the front shocks on my car, I feel there really isn't a difference between any of the settings.

I'm interested...if that counts for anything. lol

In all honesty, I dont know why people WOUDLN'T be interested in this. The rear struts on our cars aren't made to be driving at a lowered height, they can barely hold up at the factory ride height. Not to mention SRT's and I think some RT's came with the load-leveling Nivomat's that cant be used with air ride. The stock struts also bottom out before the AirLift bags do, who doesn't want to go lower?

And of course, the cherry on the top... UAS owns the right to sell the Koni Yellows (they are the ones that had them developed) so unless you buy their air kit, or all 4 struts, us LX owners have no way of purchasing those struts. So we are basically limited to the non-adjustable Koni Orange. I'll be ordering myself a set soon, since my factory rears are completely blown, and pop/rattle like crazy.

We are currently discussing changing up the kit a bit. I will throw the idea out there again about the different rear shock.

Couple thoughts that come to mind:
    1) A 5 gallon tank that fits in the spare tire area without chopping the legs down, seems a lot of people like to mount them there.
    2) The rear bag's upper bracket is extremely hard to get started threading because the washer-nut piece that sit in the upper spring perch just spins or lifts up when you try to thread the bolt into it. Another thought would be to include some 3M double sided tape to stick it to the spring perch so it doesn't slide or move around. Also, pre-threading the bolt in that washer-nut piece helps clear out some of the paint/powder-coating. This makes it much easier to get threaded.
    3) The rear bags have very little clearance, and have to be adjust so precisely to avoid rubbing. Although I've never had any problems, it might not be bad to offset the bag a bit to provide more clearance.

The kit as is, is VERY solid though. What are their reasons for wanting to switching it up?

I absolutely love mine. I think it is far superior to the UAS kit that everyone and their mother on this forum buy. I never understood what made UAS so popular here. This kit is MUCH faster, uses less air to raise the car, lifts at least a couple inches higher, and has an amazing digital controller which is only being improved by the v2 AutoPilot. Did I mention it COMES with adjustable dampening front struts? Keep up the amazing work guys!

Here's a list of things I'd like to see fixed / looked into with a new kit.

    - I can totally agree with Nate on the installation of the back bag. What a PITA. Even something like this would seriously be 100x better. http://www.webanswers.com/post-image...C81A6760CE.jpg

    - popping front bag. Bugs the **** out of me. -> 15cf87ca.mp4 video by Ev0lv3 - Photobucket I know i'm not the only one that has this problem, and I also know that not everyone has this problem. I also know you guys had a challenger there that was doing the same thing, but I didn't find out from you guys whether or not you figured out a fix.

    - adjustable front shocks, really do not feel like they have much adjustment at all. When I had my BCR coilovers, and you adjusted them you felt every single notch of adjustment. I honestly cannot differentiate between the 9 different settings. SO more agressive valving would be nice.

    - adjustable from the top would be nice.

    - coilover setup, like all the new kits you guys are making now, I can only see countless possibilities for this, as you can make the car pretty much as stiff as you want but have it just as low as you would normally by adjusting the coilovers. THis would be great for the road racers out there. The only unfortunate thing is this would only be for the front.

    - This is where an adjustable shock for the back would come in. With agressive valving as well.

If I think of anything else in my sleep I'll post it.
