Red face 305-35-20's VS. OEM(STOCK)06'SRT8 RIMS

    HEY Y'ALL,

I was just told that the Nitto's 555R 305-35- 20" Drag Raidials will fit on the back of The OEM (STOCK) 06' SRT8 Rims?

I was told 275-40-20's are as wide as you can go with the stock SRT8 20's?

Can you put the 305-35-20's on the back of your R/T, Charger, and 300c? Matbe a 3mm spacer?

Any one that know about this could you help me out here. It would be much appreciated

    THANKS

One of our club members was running a set of 315/35-20 on 10" Viper Replica wheels on a 07 Charger.

Another friend is running 305/35-20 Nitto DR's 555-R on a 08 Challenger SRT with stock SRT wheels. It's a tight fit but no rubbing, they fit in the wheel well nice. When I put the BC Racing coil-overs on the drop went 2" and then they started to rub a little. Re-adjusted to 1 3/4" on more rubbing.

SON, these will smaller than your front tires, so just wanted to point that out. I saw a dude with these same tires in Houston a couple of weeks back and sure didn't like the look. Good tire though.

    ooooh burn!
my fronts are 275/30 tho. seriously low pro,
cant wait to change them, but hey, i got em free that way

a 305/35 is only 3.25mm shorter sidewall than a 275/40/20. 3.25 mm is like..... close to nothing.

The 08 Challenger SRT Stock wheel is 9" wide (I think) and the 305/35-20 Nitto DR is meant for an approved rim size of 10". But it will fit a 9-9.5 wheel and it looks good. The tire is 28.58" tall. I'm not sure what you are running on the front of your charger but I have 275/40-20 Vred's that are 28.68" tall, so I'm not sure why someone would say they are smaller than your stock fronts, well by a 10th of an inch Ok!

    fits

It'll fit, but it's not recommended.

Probably going to distort it a little.
