22 inch 265/35/22's on my SE PLUS charger

i put some of these on my charger... should i move down the tire size 265/30's? the 35's look really close to the bar that has the bolt on the end... i bought these from someone who had them on their charger but it still seems like a tight fit. not much room on the inside of the front tires and the bar with the bolt that hangs over the tire ( not sure what bar this is ). felt the inside of the rim and it seems pretty tight up there as well... is there anything i can do about this? should i move to 265 / 30's ?

If it's not rubbing I wouldn't worry about it, that bolt use see directly above the tire moves with the suspension so it will not hit the tire.

Yea the bolt is fine. As the guy above said the tire and the section where you see that bolt all move as one so it will never hit. As for the space you have behind your wheel do you know what offset they are? (they are printed on the back of the wheel. If you have a +15 - +18 you are golden and will have no problems.

Just an SE with some more options. Believe it has the 3.5, and maybe some other upgrades like the 6 disk changer and such

Only thing I can think of off the top of my head would be way too much pressure in the tires....but I wouldn't even think then that it should, maybe someone who knows a little more will chime in because I've never heard of anyone with that problem

been driving with mine for about a week... i THINK i have slight rubbing isssues with the front tires rubbing the backside on the bar BUT i ordered the 13mm billet spacers which should clear it up... ill post pics of car and tires once im done. only other problem i have encountered is the ABS turning on with a slightly hard stop. used to take a bit of sliding to kick it on BUT i think the rims and tires are just heavier.

THAT rubbing is an offset problem, the spacers should fix that
