08 Magnum: New Wheels with no TPMS!!

Just a quick question. I just installed some new wheels on my 2008 dodge magnum r/t and the new wheels don't have the tpms installed in them. I've been driving on them for three days and the tire pressure (!) on the dash just came on today. Anyone have any idea's why it took so long for the light to come on? Also, in the 08's, does it just make chime sound as soon as you turn the car on or will it do it every 5 minutes or so? Any help would be appreciated. I searched but couldn't find much.

    P.S.
Pic's of the new wheels will be up very soon!

    Thanks,
    Ryan H.

I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't chime constantly. I believe some of the other years chime every few minutes but I don't think the 08 does. Someone shed a little light if you can.

Am sure he can give ya a deal..
