Today was the last racing day for the HHP/BES 426 stroker engine which got me into the 10's N/A.
I want to say that all during this time HHP and Josh support was outstanding. Like any relationship there were some "bumps" but for customer support they are nothing but STELLAR.
Going back a few years... some of you know the history.... The Inferno Red 300 originally had one of the first forged 6.1 engines. Well actually Hemi31 ("E") had the first I was a couple days behind him. Well needless to say we kind of went through some trials and tribulations to say the least. AGAIN HHP stood behind thier product... and we went through alot to try to make that forged 6.1 work. I kinda of gave up after awhile and Josh made me a offer on a 426 that I could not pass up.... and from that point on the rest is history.
Yes there are now many cookie cutter Stroker packages out there.... The HHP/BES combination is a proven package... all you have to do is take a peek at track record of those running HHP Stage II packages.
Thanks Josh... it was fun !
PS the engine is retired but it will still be around.....
Oh yea... heading off to Florida... for some "enhancements"![]()

You made LX history with that motor. Sorry to see it retired. I really wanted to race you at ATCO :-)
You are absolutely right about Josh and HHP - great people and great products!!
I'm looking forward to seeing what the aluminum blocks can do. You certainly know how to push the platform.

Agreed!!!

Yup a piece of history. Kinda like JMatts car (1st LX into the 10's).
A Brampton or Michigan museum would be kinda cool, lots and lots of neat stuff already and these cars are only 7 model years old (counting 2011s).
