So with all of this talk about the US gas stations having octane ratings that vary in quality from brand to brand where do us Canucks go to buy gas for high octane tunes (and get rid of that damn knock retard)?

Doing it with a friend in his garage this time. I want to be more involved this time, I think that is more than half the fun, the greasey finger nails. I have been doing CAD drawing to get the geometery of the custom Wiseco pistons sorted out. It is pretty cool, and I doubt many engine shops would go to this level detail and would just let the piston supplier guess at some of it.
We need more high octane carrying stations, or at least I do.![]()

Are you near Langley?
My brother used to buy race gas in Langley, I think it was either Jim's Garage or a shop near Jim's garage, on Industrial. I'll ask him.....
It ain't pump gas though, it's HIGH octane.
I`ve seen 97 octane at a few chevron stations.
