    Passports mandatory June 1, 2009

    Just a note to our Canadian members visiting the U.S. of A. this year.
    As of June 1, 2009, a Canadian passport is mandatory in crossing into the United States.
    But of course you all knew that. Just hate to see some plans ruined because of this new ruling invented by the Homeland Security folks of the United States.
    Coming into Canada does not seem to be a problem though for our American friends...for now anyways...

    Americans will need passports too. Or an enhanced drivers license. I got mine already so I'll have no trouble coming to the big car chow July 1st. See you then!

    When it was time to renew my passport I just opted for the passport card. I really have no desire to fly anymore. (except Hawaii)

    This just kills me. I had to get an FBI background check to have a hazmat endorsement on my license, a homeland security background check for my TWIC card to get into the ports and refineries, now I have to do it again to go 30 miles to see my buds? I ought to be the most trustworthy F'er around after all this!!!
