I signed up and entered my parents, my inlaws, friends, lol...called them and go, "You're welcome". Now I don't have to feel as bad just hanging up on them.

If you creep the telemarketer out, the calls will stop completely.
It worked at my uncle's place in Florida... my buddy came onto the guy calling and he says he hasn't had a call since. That was 3 years ago!

Signed up a couple weeks ago, can't wait until the 30 days is up! I got a call from some knob gobbler at 21:15 last night, after they took 2 mins trying to get their name out I informed them what time it was and to PISS OFF!!

I'm particularly amused by this
The exemptions include telemarketing calls made by, or on behalf of:

Canadian registered charities
Political parties, riding associations and candidates; and
Newspapers of general circulation for the purpose of soliciting subscriptions.

It would seem that politicians think we would not be annoyed by them soliciting us. It's always fun to see the gov't pass a law and then put themselves above it.

How else would they know who not to call?

Therefor bad people can get this list and then use it as thier calling list......
