    Canadians at Carslile!

    I know I'm usually the last to know or relise....

    But I just found out that as of June 2009 you must have a passport to enter the US

    even by ground!

    Used to be just by air and ship but it will be changing don't know how "flexable "it is but

    just a heads up to avoid dissapointment at the border!

    If you knew that well ,I was the last to know!

    and also to avoid long waiting periods of getting your passport(either new or renewing) get a move on it now...

    It's really becoming a Tax Grab..
    To save time at their office...Take the time, go to the Post Office, get the pamplet, take it home.
    Type in the "online address"..throw the pamplet away
    Do the app on line..spend an hour.
    It'll print (WITH A BAR CODE) only if you have all the info type in
    I parked the car, took the elevator, signed into the "Competed on Line"
    I was back in my car with in 20 minutes
    Had the document deliverd by registered mail to me..within 2 weeks
    We're staying at Econo Lodge in Carlisle...

    Filled out all my forms today for passport and nexus pass.. (figure I may as well do both since I work about 30 min from the border)

    HAve to hit walmart this weekend to get a couple of pictures and should be good to go in a few weeks...
