Window Tinting In San Diego

I need to find a reputable place that won't charge and arm and leg to tint my Mag. Any S.D. Mag's got any advice. I need to get it done b4 the Jan 14 M&G

I don't know of any off hand. I hear national City is the place to go for that. I already got pulled over once for my stock tint being too dark. Coronado Police, go figure.

I had my other car's windows tinted by Diamond Services (?) on Miramar Rd. This was a few years ago but there were 7 windows tinted with felt installed at the seal of the opening windows (Mercedes is notorious for having the seals scratch the window tint) for about $400. I believe the felt install was about $140 total so that would come to $260. Again, this was a couple of years ago.

RPS, I know what you mean. I use to live in Coronado and the police are hardcore. I now live in Oceanside and the cops are fun out here. I'll be side by side with police at a stop light in my fully tinted ride and still get a thumbs up from them. Many of them have actully asked me to roll down the window and ask "where's Robin", "does it fly too", "was Bat Mobile taken" because it says BatWgon".

FF, I got mine done at Al & Ed's Auto. I paid $350. They did a very go job and even tinted one side 3 times because I thought it could be done better (I'm very picky). Good luck in your search!!!!

Hey man, I know a business that will come to your place of work, tint your car in the parking lot while you work, then bring you the bill and leave.

I had it done, and it looks AWESOME! I couldn't be happier with it, and I didn't even have to waste time going to a shop!

EDIT: it was NO WHERE NEAR $350. It was more like $120 (and I got 5% limo all the way around and a 13" strip on the windshield)

They probably overcharged you because it was technically an illegal job. This guy doesn't care if it's illegal or not, he doesn't charge extra. They also do building tint for anybody that needs their home/office windows tinted

Finally got the MAG tinted. here are links to the pre and post tint pics. Couldn't post pics in here bcuz they were TOOO BIIIGGGG and tried to resize em and didn't work. so check it out and tell me what you think.


The tint is as follows: Back 5 are Limo Tint and the Front 2 are 32%

Cost: 215.00 with lifetime warranty
