I'm in. No connections to speak of, but I'm happy to help organize if needed.
The time has definitely come. Pity that tracks are so sparse in CA. Let's make it happen. I know SoCal is a bit of a drive for a lot of folks, so maybe Bakersfield or even Sacramento? Anybody hooked up with either of those tracks? If T&T is closed at the Bakersfield track, maybe, with enough participation we can get special dispensation? If nobody is hooked up already, I can look into it next week.
I have an in with Sacramento if that works for people.

Not sure if it'll happen that quick since I think they're going to be closing soon (except for T&T on Saturday mornings). We'd likely have to pay for the track rental in advance so the weather would also be a consideration since we're in the rainy season up here.
I'll check with the guy I know though and see what he has to say/suggest.

I know this is a while away but us up here in the N.W. are working with the Mopars Unlimited group to create one of the largest Mopar meets on the West Coast. It is going to be July 25th - 27th at Pacific Raceways in Seattle http://www.pacificraceways.com . There will be racing on Friday night with the Mopar group and the rodders from the Goodguys show that will be going on down the road, Saturday will be a test and tune and then racing again on Sunday. They are expecting 500 to 600 Mopars. There will be camping and swap meets and so much more. I know we can have at least 100 LX's from the N.W and Canada but would love to see 200 or more there. This is going to be a huge event and would love to have all of you there. This would make a huge statement to the eastcoast guys....
Sorry to ramble guys...
