The letter itself is plain white with no return address or any other markings. I almost assumed it was just junk mail and trashed it. Here is what the letter reads-

I got the letter and did a "session" with them a few months ago...it was getting user feedback on the MyGIG system.
It's worth doing if you've got the time.

OK. Went to the DCX lab in Palo Alto. For those of you who don't know, it's right across the street form HP on Page Mill Road. This was very cool. They wanted to find out my opinion about putting touch screens in the car on the center console thereby eliminating all the buttons and knobs for the radio, cclimate control, etc. I gotta say this was very cool. Inside the lab there are two LX cockpit mockups that you actually sit in and test the system. It was a little confusing at first but after a few minutes it was very easy to understand and control. Basicaly you pretend to drive and operate the radio and climate controls (it has CD and SAT also) and then answer a few quwstions about functionality, ease of use, etc. and give it a 1-5 grade (1 being hard/dislike and 5 being easy/like). It took about an hour or so and they paid me $150 cash for my time. If any of you get the chance to do this, I highly recommend it. Not only did I make enoughmoney to do some small mods (chrome pillar covers and honeycomb grill insert) but I got to see what the next gen LX cars may have inside them.
