Shipping my car to Cali...

Well since I am still waiting on approval to send my car to Japan. I need to start planning on getting my car to the mainland IF I can't get here out there. So I can ship the car to Cali * California ports: Los Angeles (Long Beach) and Oakland (Richmond). Which would be a better place to ship to?

yeah long beach port.... where in japan are you gonna go? i'm from japan.. grew up in yokosuka and okinawa...

Going back to Yokosuka. Spent 4 years there. Prior to that spent 4 years on Sasebo. Went to Okinawa about 60 times and loved it there! HAISAI! lol

When I PCS'd from Hawaii my car went through Long Beach with no issues. Ultimately picked it up in St. Louis Mo. it wasn't my Charger however.

Really thinking about Long Beach. Now I need to find the closest airport and that damn addy where my car will be.

i heard yokosukas changed.. not sure when you were there.. i'll be back there in 2011 for my 20 year highschool reunion!

Long beach would be best.... closest airport would be LAX.

Was out in Yokosuka 3 1/2 years ago. It has changed from the 1st time pulling in. Really not worried about all their rules out there. Just lookin for that extra extra money...

Yeah gonna get the car sent to Long Beach then fly to LAX...

i just left Yoko this past Feb. ya, it has changed since i was first there in 1992. i might be back there in 2011 as well.... to early yet to really know.

Where at were you? Going to the USS Cowpens... Was just out there back in Sept this month (well Tokyo) and damn it has changed a lot. Love the SP trying to give me ****. Just pulled my passport out and they left me alone...

The closest airport to Long Beach is the Long Beach airport....literally the tiniest crap airport around, but Jet Blue flies out of there.
