    A little help

Greetings all. As you know fire ravaged Southern California this past weekend. hundreds of people lost everything. Among those were some very dear friends of mine and their children. They lived in Yorba Linda and literally had only a few minutes to evacuate after the winds changed direction and the fire raced towards their neighborhood. By the time the fire broke the ridge it only took 4 minutes to travel all the way too their neighborhood and their house!! At the same time we were under voluntary evacuation in Anaheim Hills. We were very lucky as the winds changed and moved the fires away from us. We were spared anything worse than serious amounts of smoke and ash, but my friends and many other lost everything! So I have decided to launch an effort to help them as much as I can.

As you can imagine dealing with this is insanely hard at anytime, but especially during the holiday season. They have nothing now, and it will take months for them to begin to get true assistance from the insurance companies and FEMA. I am pleading to any of you who might want to help. I cannot even imagine what it is like going into the Christmas season with absolutely nothing; no car, no home, no clothing, no family photos, no toys, no Christmas presents, nothing!! I am asking for any who is interested to send a Target, Walmart or Toys R Us gift card in any amount. Specifically we want to help the kids, who are young, be able to have a happy holiday, and to be able to get some personal things they chose to gain a sense of normalcy and stability again.

If you are interested please let me know. Send me a PM or an email to thepases@sbcglobal.net. I can give you specific details so you know this is not some BS scam. I can give you his office address so you can send them the cards directly as well. I desperately want to help a wonderful family who has been so amazing to us for so many years. I hope you are able to help as well.

Below are photos of their house and what they experienced. These photos were taken from their driveway.

This is a very generous offer Glovesave. The beauty of our little forum is that you'll find we are here for folk in thier time of need. And your friends are no exception.

Also understand that there has been a couple times in the past where someone has tried to take advantage of that generousity.

But with that said, if you wouldn't mind PM'n me the info, I will pass this on and get the right guys lined up that can put this together.

We are having a Toys for Tots drive on the 5th at Beach Burger in Huntington Beach. Maybe something can be worked out with combining the two.
From wild to extra wild we got you covered with crap ya never knew you needed.

Yes, I know there are some real scum bags out there. We have already seen it in Yorba Linda with fake insurance claims folks trying to steal identities! You have a PM my friend. Please feel free to contact me directly and I can give you more details. Thanks!! Shane
