Lakewood Car Show

Well, eventfull weekend burbank for the LXers yesterday, and Today, Mitzkity had her HHR entered in the "10th Annual Lakewood Stampede Car Show" Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. The local Chevy dealership invited her HHR group to come and show off, and while it was another hot one, Mitz was a big winner!



She won "Hot HHR" the trophy given out by the Dealership, and second place in the people choice for the "class"

OK, so the class consisted of 3 HHR's (2 dropped out) but still, was nice to take home some hardware. Also won a cool looking clock in the raffle.



There was a very cool looking maggie there, but it took off before the show really got started. (Think it was a show-off group from some shop or something because it wasn't entered)

Anyways, it was a great show of about 350 cars, mostly Vintage and Classics. Here is a photo gallery we shot today.

Cool pics!! Thanks for sharing. My two nephews and I were supposed to meet a friend of mine at that show today. However, after taking them to another show in Rialto this morning they were complaining that they were tired and it was too hot. Needless to say I fed them and took them home. It was just as well though because I seem to have caught the nastiest cold or sinus infection or something and I completely feel like crap. Congrats on the win!!!!

Thank you so much!! Catz is the BEST! He took pictures the whole time, kept me from wilting in the heat with, of course, .... MICROFIBER TOWELS DIPPED IN ICE WATER (not quick detailer) .... and took some ribbing too.

When the judge started asking about my great name (Ferrari), he asked me where I got it. I told him I married it.

Then he stuck the microphone under my nose & asked, "And is it THE Ferrari's?" I told them, no, I thought he was found on a doorstep.

Ya know, I'm seeing a trend here, the last event we went to for her car she won (via raffle) A car bra, a $200 leather Irwindale Jacket, and a Meguiars car-care kit she's yet to go pickup.

I think I'm gonna have to start asking for a percentage of the take-home
