Drove up to Sac to buy my MSRT8, but it's a little far for service. Can anyone recommend a dealer in the South Bay? I'm thinking Normandin's, but I'd like to hear if anyone has other suggestions.

Ask the dealer you bought it from where you should take it? Have them call down there and warm it up for you like they are sending you to them. Some dealers like to pull the "Take it to the dealer you bought it from" crap on you when things get sticky and they don't feel like going the extra mile.

They'll tell me to take it to Fremont, where they have a sister dealership.
No one's had any warranty issues to deal with, and any input where/not to go?

I go to Wester in Seaside. Top notch service. Not South Bay I know, but a good day trip for you. I hear the Gilroy dealership is good but I have no personal experience.
Thanks, Matt. Seaside's a bit far. Don't know much about South County (Gilroy). I think I may try my luck with Hartzheim in San Jose, since they're the closest 5 star dealer, and they've sold a few SRTs.Originally Posted by MattRobertson
Great website of yours, by the way.

If I have a long service, I have their shuttle take me to one of the local golf courses (Eagle Ridge or San Juan Oaks).
Normandin's a Chrysler dealer, Hartzheim is the Dodge dealer at the Capitol Expwy Auto Mall. I didn't think about taking my Magnum to Normandin's. Let me know how the service is if you end up taking your SRT8 there.Originally Posted by ExLexusGuy
Just had my second bad service experience with Hartzheim on Capitol this weekend. Each incident was with a different service advisor. I was only able to get satisfaction/ issue resolution after talking directly with the technician.Originally Posted by ExLexusGuy

Well, that's the type of thing I was looking for, though I would have preferred a good reviewOriginally Posted by midnight_blue_rt

Good point by Pablo Cruz about Normandin's vs. Hartzheim. I actually meant Hartzheim in my original post, but typed Normandin's (hey, they're close to each other). Normandin's had a good reputation when they were up on Stevens Creek years ago. And maybe since they're a Chrysler dealer, and Chrysler's supposed to be more upscale than Dodge, the service might be better.
