What's up?... No news from the weekend events???

Is everyone suffering from heat stroke??? Here it is, Monday morning, and no posts about Biscuits party or the Seattle drag races. What's up? Hope everyone survived the hot weekend!

You would think we are, Don!! It was a HOT one, for sure!! I posted pics on Biscuits BBQ thread, it was a great time, & some really nice people. I was wondering, does the Magnum attract a certain type of person? Well, whatever it does, we have met the nicest folks, and add Biscuit & Annie to that list.

Glad to see you survived the heat. Hopefully I can meet Biscuit and his wife at some future event.

Yeah, but those 300 guys think they're so much better than the rest of us. They need to get down from their high horse and hang with the rest of us lowly mag owners.

Oddly enough... I came to a light next to a beautiful blacked-out 300-Srt8 two days ago... Driver had his window down, as did I, so I paid him the obligatory 10 seconds worth of compliments on the sweet ride. The guy absorbed it all with no response and a condescendingly disinterested look on his face, looked forward, and jumped the light just before green, leaving me and my Magnum SXT in the dust...

Not that I'd draw any bigtime generalizations from it -- I guess not everyone is into the car-community thing.... Still, kind of a pr!ck move...

If that was in Maple Valley I know the butthead you are talking about. I invited him to join the FORUM and he blew me off and just kept crapping on me that he had a SRT8 and mine was a V6 Magnum...

Too bad mine is PRETTIER though!!!!

Actually, I didn't realize this thread was in the Northwest region... I'm all the way over in Jersey!

Funny though, I always picture SRT8 owners as typical laid back, cool "car" guys; doesn't seem it would attract the snobbish "status symbol" type, as the average person probably wouldn't even recognize or appreciate an SRT for what it is... Anyway, I'm pretty sure most of 'em are good folks. And I envy each and every one of the bastards!

Well hopefully that was the exception and not the rule.
I pulled up next to a black 300 SRT also about two months ago. I praised his car in the few seconds we had, and he returned the favor by complimenting mine as well.

I guess you can find a pr!ck in just about anything, anytime.
