What a fun weekend

Well, while we were at the Triple X in Issaquah I found out about a car show that was scheduled for the very next day, Sunday... So after Melanie and I went for a short drive up to the falls I got my butt home and finished pimpin' my ride until about 1am.

I arrived at the Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah around 8am and paid my $10 entry fee... Man what a bargain.

The event was called Racing and Tastin... or was it Tastin and Racin??? Either way...

Not only were there hundreds of rods, but they had a live band, hydro-plane racing, jet ski racing, and food food food... and a beer garden too. Then the Seafair pirates showed up.

I must have spoken to over 600 people about my ride that day...

Unfortunately no cars newer than 1974 won any prizes... There were some incredible street rods, both custom and all original parts.

Needless to say I was dog tired after all of it but boy was it fun.

Other than my 05 Magnum, only one other LX showed up, a Go Mango Daytona Charger... the same one that came to the Triple X the night before... so I gave him my card with the LX forum address on it...

No back to work.

From what I hear yes... It would have been more fun if there had been more LX's there though... LOL

Oh.......we're a loving group in the Northwest. I'm still available for fathering a child, BTW! My kids are almost all grown.
I'd like another one.

Sounds like a good show,not sure about the beer garden at a car show though.nothing against it,just never seen that before.I'm sure they'd have somekind of issue with that around here.

It was crazy, all those drunk Seafair pirates, bikers, and boat racers...

There were some pretty incredible cars there... Even an old old corvette with a Riviera front end...

Only one other car with lambos... early 2000 Mustang convertable.

Well Weet, the thought has crossed my mind. But I'm afraid I can't take up your offer. I don't think I could handle the pain of child birth!!! lol

178K to raise a kid to 18....hmmm you could out mod E for that cash. How about adopting me and moddin my car ...it'll cost ya less and I dont need braces.
