I took the gauge cluster out to do some custom work. I didn't take off the needles or anything like that but now when I put it back in the speedo drops down below zero when the car sits. Please help with any suggestions !!!![]()

Hmmm... with a thread title like that, I almost didn't open this thread. Glad to see you're talking about your car's speedometer.
I'm not familiar enough with the gauge to offer any helpful advice. Maybe this bump will catch someone's attention.

Not sure Bash, but I just couldn't help but laugh at Don's comment. You might want to message Redfox (Nathan). He makes graphic overlays for the speedometers I believe, and he might be able to help you.

I did that to catch peoples eyes!!!!!!!
I think you are going to have to take your cluster back out to fix your problem. You might have accidentally moved the needle for the speedometer when you were customizing. To fix it, take your cluster back out and remove the clear plastic panel so you can access the needles. Then plug in your gauges and turn the key to the "on" position. your Speedometer and Tachometer needles should go to zero. If one of them aren't at zero, then simply turn the needle until they both are. Its a simple fix, I had to do it when I changed the light color of my gauges.
Not that simple.
You will need to remove the plastic cover piece that is held on with 6 T-10 or T-15 Torx head bolts on the back but you need to have the cluster plugged in when you do this as it uses the PCM power as a memory reference.
Carefully pull the needles off where they are and reset them where you want them to go..do NOT turn the needle when you pull it off but pull it straight off and put it straight where you want it, simply turning it will usually not do the trick.
I recommend driving the car around the block then shutting it off, opening and closing the doors a few time and setting the factory car alarm if you have it. Leave the car for about 30 minutes and then check it again, sometimes they fall again when the PCM goes to sleep and you need to reset it again one more time.
Once you feel the needles are where you want them simple reinstall the plastic piece and all should be good.
