About LinkBacksI remember i use to watch that show all the time when i was a kid, and always wanted to go on there, i think he retired in '97...any body on here been on the show? or your kids?

It's Ramblin' Rod...and no I was never on it. My cousins were though. I remember I was around 7...and I had a lot of rage that they were on it and I wasn't.
He used to own property out on 26...his own airstrip and such...my daddy had to go to his house when he was a paramedic. I guess someone that was visiting him had a heart issue.
Anyway...Ramblin rod is dead. Bummer. Cool show. They don't do that kinda thing anymore.

Believe it or not, I was on the show twice with my cousin. Not sure how you got on. It does bring back memories. I used to watch that show a ton. Sad. I do remember that he was a nice guy.

I was on in 1975 I believe. My cousin who went with us was the smile winner and I remember I got mad about that. I remember I received a yo-yo. Those were the days.......
