    Pre Racing tuning

I had a great afternoon at pre racing today with thomas and hank. I lost count of the number of dyno pulls after about two hours....that said it didn't cost me much since I got to use my store credits from winning two classes in the dyno competition last month.

Anyway the reason for this post is to let all of you know that the tuner at PR is first class. I am working with Bob@svs, but the PR tuner was first rate in assisting me gather the right information for Bob. He took the time to explain the results of each pull and how he would adjust after each pull, so we followed his instructions with the limited adjustable variables on the predator which resulted in an increase of 27HP and 29tq. All of this information has been sent to Bob for further refinement of my tune.

After all was said and done, he mentioned that if we were able to get some folks to commit to using PR for their tuning they would purchase the license/software from Diablosport. This would give us another option for tuning besides the email tunes and having to drive long distances. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with the email tunes, Bob does great work, but wouldn't it be nice to hop in your car and tweak your car on the fly...We only need a few people to commit to this.....Thomas can post up the details as he talked to the tuner more about this then I did....I believe that three of us are in so far, more the better.

We just need 5 people to commit. 1 ducket deposit gets it ordered. With John in, we have 4 people that are down. 1 more and it's on and crackin! Would like to see what Bobby could do. He has played around with a trial version before and seems to know his art. He did wonders to Minihemi's SRT4. I see PRE stickers on almost every STI and WRX in Portland, so that is a good sign. PM me to get on the list, or to get more info.

The people on the list below need to call and place a deposit of $100 with PRE. They are calling their diablo rep and should be up and running by the end of next week. Finally, a local CMR tuner in the Portland area.

    List:

    Tmac16550 (paid)
    Bluebee (paid)
    Hankster (paid)
    Maddog (paid)
    Onecoolmofo (paid)

FYI: they charge $150 an hour for dyno tuning. Shouldn't be more than 2 or 3 hrs tops.

    Thanks

Will try to call and pay deposit tomorrow if I can get a second free at work, been crazy last couple days there.

I will have to wait until I get all my goodies installed though. Waiting on the a few items still, then a mod weekend in May sometime.

Cool! I will get tuning done after my cam install as well. Let me know when you do yours. I should be able to give a hand. Hopefully I can have the cam and install it next week.
