NW Feeler, swap my privacy glass for your clear glass.

I'm running around looking for a tint shop that can match my new windshield today, not really set to jump on it but getting info.. I found one that said he could match it but they all said that I'd have to get clear glass for the rear 5 windows in order to get them tinted. Not sure what it'd cost but I'm thinking it's a bunch.

I had a thought though, some of you guys don't have privacy glass and would probably like to get it. So here's what I'm thinking, I trade you my glass for your glass and you pay the installation fees, probably cost about the same as getting them all tinted.

Like I said, I'm not ready to commit but let me know if anyone would be interested.

I thought all trim levels of Magnums had privacy glass? All except for fleet cars maybe? I know the 300's and Chargers can have clear.

I have seen a few SE's with clear glass but they are few and far between. I don't remember ever seeing a forum member that didn't have tint.

you DO NOT have to have clear glass to tint over them. About 15-18% front tint will match the rear factory glass

I don't know what shop told you that, but we match Factory tint everyday. Swapping the glass would cost more than tinting you car complete.

So far my local cops have said the windshield is OK, heading over to the county today to get it tested and then I should be good for about 80% of my driving area.

I'm digging the blue shield, but think that blue windows would be over doing, IMO!
