    My boy is making me feel old

    My boy came over to play with the boys last night and dropped a bomb on me.
    hes going to be 25 in March and I have told over and over not to have, you know, and he can not make me a grampa till I'm 50. well guess what in Aug I'll be one. No they are not getting married, long time friends and he has had 2 bad one, due to military and being young. I wish him all the luck in the world on his new adventure. I thought I had to grow up before I became a grampa. Oh well play, spoil and send home.
    I'm exited for him and scared for them. Atlease I will have someone to play with at my level. LOL

    Thats why I'm waiting, Im 40 and no kids yet. I feel like Im 25 and act like Im 18. I figure if I wait long enouph the grandpa thing wont happen tell Im 65......Congrats you Old Fart

    Congrats, Grandpa!!! I enjoy being Grandpa...I can spoil the kids then send them home to Mom and Dad. That's one way to get back at them for all the crap you put up with when raising your kids...LOL

    Being a Grandpa ROCKS!!! Welcome to the club! No better feeling than when your kids come home with your grandkids, you get to be one all over again, and this time maybe afford it! We are up to five grandkids, I will be fifty in February. I am going to have to get a dirt bike again soon cause I don't want the youngsters to grow up without the experiance of being ALONE in the woods when the bike breaks.

    Lots of lessons to teach there Grandpa!! You will love it. Maybe you can steel the kids and do a meet and great in Canada!!

    I almost made it, with him being married twice and no kids. Turning 48 shortly and feel older, look much younger and act like I'm in my 20's. I'm more of a kid then my sun is cause I got all the cool toys.
    I told him he won't have toys till he's in is 40 now and I don't sure. LOL I think I'm ready to play with playdo now. I figure by the time the child is three it will be on a 4 wheeler and racing karts. I'll start making a track now.

    Congrats Adam. You know the one thing I don't regret is having kids early. I was 22 and had the energy to do what they wanted to do. Was still young when they were out of the house and also when they made me Papa. So far I haven't had anyone who thought my grandkids weren't my actual kids. Blows them away and I always get a good chuckle from it. I would much rather be a young parent/grandparent than an old one anyday.
