Mopar Nationals July 16th

I wanted to throw out the idea off people meeting up for the Mopar Nationals @ Woodburn Dragstrip on the 16th of July. Don and I are planning on attending. Would be cool to have a strong showing at this event. If people are interested in meeting up in Woodburn at the Dodge dealership then coming into the dragstrip together for prime parking. If people ant to do this I would strongly suggest that we are at the dragstrip no later than 8:15 it fills up quick for good parking.

Yeah,
I know thats that is abit early but the first year that I went I got there at 9:00am and I had to a park on the back dirt area. Last year I was ther at 8:00am and was in the main show area.. Usually when the gates open i like to be there. Kev

I caught something about that too, however, there will be NO parking in dirt on my watch!! (I guess I could dust half of MMM's car if that is needed)

Like I mentioned to some of you, it doesn't give any details about the Mopars National event. As best I can tell, it's a car show and drag races. Since Kev has been there before, maybe he can post a little about what to expect there. Can you elaborate a little Kev?

I called them last year as well when I showed my PT Cruiser and asked them to have a cruiser class. I didn't hear back from them but when I went to register they had included a Pt Cruiser class. I may call them again to see if they woiuld include a magnum class as well since it looks as if there will be a few of us showing up.
