Little "Show-n-Shine", June 17-18, in Gresham, OR

Our church is doing a "Fatherfest" on Father's Day weekend. As part of the celebration, they are having a show-n-shine car show. It's just an opportunity for those who have nice cars to show them off a bit and have a little fun time together.

The times for the event will be Saturday, June 17, from 5 p.m. until around 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 18, from 9 a.m. until around 1 p.m.

I know this is a busy weekend for most of you, but if you happen to have nothing going on that weekend and want to come join me, you're more than welcome. Since it's very informal, you are welcome to come either day, or both if you're really bored! I'll be there with MaggieMae on both days.

Let me know if you're interested. They'd like to have a little "heads up" on how may cars to expect.

It's at East Hill Church, right in the heart of old town Gresham. On Main St, between Powell and Division.

I'd love to see ya there. I'm hoping the weather is good... the long range forcast is kind of iffy. I'm also hoping that there are no problems with my suspension installation. It's suppose to be happening this week. I'm gonna tell them I HAVE to have the car on Friday... no excuses!!!

Unfortunately... No! It's looking like Monday at the earliest...

I'm a bit bummed, as now I don't have MaggieMae to take to this show. Fortunately, it isn't a big event with a lot of folks coming, otherwise I'd really be bummed!

I was afraid this might happen... tried to get some assurance from them that they could do it in 3 days. They were fairly confident they could, but I think they got too many interruptions and ran into a few glitches they didn't expect (like the wiring for the digital controls not being long enough, clearance issues with the fittings on the front bags, and the layout of the tank/pumps/valves in the back). They are extremely quality oriented though, which I really appreiciate. I think I'm going to be very happy with the install once it's done!
