    I need help deciding

I am ready to pull the trigger on springs. I am looking to the NW forum members I have met to let me know what springs they are running and the pro's and con's of em.

I figure that if it's mostly the cars I have seen personally then I can put together a mental image better.

I am open to anyone's opinion though.

    Thanks in advance,
    Slim.

Right on, ready to drop that bad boy, huh?! Good deal!!
As you (I think) know, I have the KW V1's in mine.

Pros: performance springs, struts, shocks all in one package. Adjustable right height. Does require re-alignment if you change it, but does allow you to dial it in for looks & handling and adjust for any wheel / tire combo. (I am considering going to a different tire to lower the car further)

Cons: $$$, but if you consider that you will be replacing your struts & shocks in a year, it takes a little of the bite out of it.

Looking forward to what you decide and to see the car. Loved the rear bumper cover mod too!

Sorry, I can't help you. I've dumped the springs to go with air. Although, I can't even tell you about that yet, as I don't have the car!

I've only heard good things about the KW's though. Good luck with your decision. We look forward to seeing what you decide on.

I originally bought Eibach Springs but knew sooner or later the struts would poop out on me... plus they had a tendancy to let the car bottom out on the stops...

I went with the KW V1's and have never looked back... IMO the best bang for the buck!!!

I went for the Hotchkis TVS -- springs and bars are made to work optimally together; also includes shortened bump stops.

Hmmm, now I have to sit back and think this over a little bit. I was convinced that a 300$ set of springs would set me up, but now I am not sure. I guess I have to research how much struts and shocks are to replace. I wasn't planning on spending the money for coilovers just yet. Maybe I will have to wait a month or so and make the big purchase.

    Thanks guys.
