    Coilovers & Sways Installed!

    So, remember when I got these?



    And these?



    Well, they are on! I took the car to The Drop Shop (formerly known as Charley's Drop Shop) in Portland for the install and alignment. This is the 4th vehicle they have done for me and I've always gotten excellent service and I've never had a problem with their work. So if you have a suspension project in your future, consider giving Jacob a call at The Drop Shop.

    Here's some pics. I need some better ones for a true before and after. I got a nice before pic but a good after pic will have to wait until we get a nice sunny day here. That will probably be sometime in May!

    Anyway, my wheelwell arch height before was:

    Front: 29 - 5/8", Rear 30 - 1/8"

    After measurements are:

    Front: 28 - 0", 28 - 7/8"







    A very positive improvement in handling, there's no strut clunk, it's a bit stiffer, no wobble or bobble side to side when hitting a corner hard that has a ripple or bump in it and a little more lift throttle oversteer than what I'm used to. It's hard to see from the pics (sorry!) but the stance is right on!

    All in all, I'm super pleased with the result! SRT8 Suspension will be up for sale soon!
