Car show-n-shine in Portland May 20th - Columbia River Mopars

Yes, there is a car show at my dealership on the 20th of May (a saturday). Its pretty much a show and shine, and a little BSin, maybe some food (details are comming).

They are afraid that there wont be enough cars to fill our show room. Currently, there is a few cars from the viper club going, some people from the Walter P Chrysler club are going to attend also.

They told me they wanted the cars moved on on thursday, but since almost all of us use ours as daily drivers, that isnt a possibility..

The show will go on friday (afternoon, up through the night), and saturday as well. Im thinking if we get some cars maybe friday night to attend (maybe) that would be cool, but if more people wanted to show up on saturday that would be OK too.

The guy i talked to (mike porter) said its alright to move your cars out of the showroom every night to drive them to the hotels/where your staying, so thats not a problem.

I was thinking a get together/BBQ on saturday (care of the parts department) would be a nice thing to do, even if it was just us LX brothers for the day. Hey, if the weathers good, we can head to PIR too and run them at the strips.

I dont expect this to be a massive thing, but i will be attending and i thought i would let everyone know about it. Let me know if your interested in putting your car in to the show. $10 gets you into our covered show room.

AJ, So let me get this straight: the Dealer wants us to promote sales for them, AND pay 10 bucks for the honor?! j/k, but you know.....lol
It's a possibility for us, always willing to show some love for a fellow LX'er for sure! Can you promise good weather?! Keep me posted on details...Chris

I cant promise good weather.. but i can promise the weather will be nice in the show room...

How many cars can fit in that showroom?

I might be able to show up on Friday evening, but Saturday I have a memorial to go to.

Do we have to pay the $10 if we just park outside in the lot??? :grin:

LOL, no you can park outside for free, but i dont know how many people will look at it. haha.

Quite a few cars can fit.. best guess is 20-25+.. depending on how they set it up.

Well, who's gonna look at a stock Magnum with shiney wheels that sits too high anyway. Especially if there's one's with fancy paint and lowered suspension!

That's one large show room. That's gotta be one of the largest in the area, I would guess!
