About LinkBacksSo, I learned today I'm getting reassigned to a new position within my company starting in mid-February, which at first sounded all wonderful and dandy. But, then I find out the position I'm getting moved to is a contract position that has the funds to last through August, and without a renewal, I'll most likely be jobless!
The person that had that position moved up to another non-contractual position, and the company must fulfill our obligation, so I was 'chosen' to fill that spot, and they're going to absorb my current position, meaning it won't be available when the contract is over...I was chosen because they're wasn't any other options apparently.
So, I'm kinda feeling a little bit like I'm driving down a foggy road...not necessarily sure what's coming up. I've already cancelled one planned vacation and most likely will pass up on Irvine again this year...can't really afford to spend on vacations now if there's a possibility of being unemployed in 6 months. However, I'm still planning on doing my exhaust and headers LOL...piss on that economy.
Anyhoot, anyone got a job for me? I make a great 300lb male dancer. My moves rival John Travolta's and Micheal Jackson's combined. My hair is long like Fabio's, but curly and soft like sheep's wool. I can't do the splits, but I can squat over 500lbs. Hit me up!

Sorry to hear about the bad news. All I can say is what I keep telling myself, it will get better after the storm. As long as you have your health and family that still counts for something. Good luck

shipyard in Bremerton is having a job fair Friday and Saturday at the Kitsap Fairgrounds. They are looking to do some tenative job offers too!
